1.8.09

Day 4 -- Things are going well. On Day 2 & 3 of the Elimination Diet I discovered that I must've had an unrealized sugar addiction. You cannot use artificial sweeteners and that means either I sweeten my decaf with stevia or forget about it. Well, yuk! I definitely know that I have a cheese addiction! Going without cheese is harder than going without artificial sweeteners.


Today's workout:

10 minute elliptical warm-up.

Each grouping is performed as alternating sets before moving on to the cardio interval.

Dumbbell flys w/crunches 15/40 X 3
Squats 15/50 X 3

--Cardio Interval -- 2 min. 5.0 mph, 2% incl.

Plank 30 seconds X 3

Close-grip pushup 12 X 3

Alternating chest press 15/20 each side

Jump Squats 12 X 3

Side plank with T-raise (lt weight) 8/6 each side X 3

--Cardio Interval -- 2 min. 5.0 mph, 2% incl.

W-shoulder press w/leg ext 12/30 X 3

Sumo squat 15/30 X 3

Tuck jumps 10 X 3

--Cardio Interval -- 2 min. 5.0 - 7.0 mph, 2% incl.

Bench dips 15 X 3

Triceps press-down 12/85 X 3

Lunge w/lat raise 16/20 X 3

Mountain climbers 15 sets X 3

Boat pose hold 30 seconds X 3

--Cardio Interval --2 min. 5.0 - 6.0 mph, 2% incl.

Bicycle crunches 20 X 3

Reverse crunches 15 X 3

--Cardio Interval - 5 minutes elliptical

Total Workout Time: 1 hr. 34 minutes
